Millions of Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al- Fitr
Millions of Muslims all around the world will be celebrating Eid al-Fitr this week to mark the end of Ramadan. The date in which Eid falls on is decided by the cycle of the moon and this year falls around 12-14th May. The BBC's Newsround have put together a series of videos of children explaining how they will celebrate Eid al-Fitr this year. Eid Mubarak.

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) have opened their 2022 photography competition aimed at encouraging both young and old to get closer to nature and are welcoming photographic submissions taken of insects, wildlife, indoor gardening, plants, and gardens. Design and make your own story with the V&A museum
The V&A museum in London have over one million objects in their collection! Take a moment to consider all the different stories and histories of those items. The V&A have designed an inspirational activity for children where they use objects from around their home to create an imaginative story. With the five chosen objects children invent a story, setting and character, then creatively think how the five objects fit into their adventure. It might be that an old watch becomes a time machine, or a library book has magical powers. Fun for 7-11 year olds and big kids too!
