V&A

Design and make your own story with the V&A museum

The V&A museum in London have over one million objects in their collection! Take a moment to consider all the different stories and histories of those items. The V&A have designed an inspirational activity for children where they use objects from around their home to create an imaginative story. With the five chosen objects children invent a story, setting and character, then creatively think how the five objects fit into their adventure. It might be that an old watch becomes a time machine, or a library book has magical powers. Fun for 7-11 year olds and big kids too!
